Anyine got a source for these in the UK?
I like the idea of using them to transport beer to friends houses etc but can't find them on any of the regular homebrew sites.

they are an american thing for sure. old rosie bottles could be a good idea? you'd only need to buy a few, you can culture the cider yeast, and you get to drink the cider  could always ask around if you know any cider drinkers.

My local brewery sell nice 4 pint growlers with grolsch-style caps. You can take them back for a refill at the brewery but they are also great for bottling home brew or filling with bright beer from the keg if you're visiting friends. :thumb:

Brewdog bar sell them on site, most of the time. I think you can also buy them on the Brewdog Website. 3 n a half pints I think. Take em to brewdog bar for a carry out and pay for 3 pints, get third free...

Brewdog! That's a great idea!! They have a new bar 2 seconds from our place in Bristol and they owe us a few favours!!! :thumb:

Pardon the ignorance, but I take it you are something to do with grillstock then? If so, congrats - I popped in for a pulled pork roll with the missus earlier in the week and we both agreed it was probably the best we've had! Oh, and we then went to brewdog for a sneaky half...!

Yes Grillstock is my business! Stoked to hear you enjoyed the pulled pork roll! That's what happens when you gently kiss a pork shoulder with hickory smoke for 18hrs :thumb:

Jon!! What!?!?!

Grillstock right next to BrewDog? Lethal. I now have Pulled Pork and Punk IPA stuck in my head.

Well, that's that. I really am going to have to come and visit!!!

And in the meantime, a citrussy pale will is being brewed this weekend ready for a winter slow smoked pork butt!!!
