groulsh bottle problem with sediment?

i brewed a few norfolk wherrys now, normally bottled in 1 litre plastic bottles without any issues. i bottled the last batch in some groulsh bottles i got from my local. the problem is though that it has cleared well, but when i open the bottle (flip top caps) the sudden release in pressure seems to lift the sediment off the bottom making it undrinkable. why is this happening? has it happened to anyone else?

How much priming sugar did you put in the grolsch bottles compared to the PET bottles? Perhaps you over-dosed?
It's still drinkable of course, the sediment is only brewers yeast which is healthy...

I bottle my TC in Grolsch bottles and I can't say I've noticed the sediment being disturbed that much. They normally open with a bit of a pop so I imagine with a similar amount of force to you.

only put half a teaspoon of priming sugar in

you are best batch priming at 6-7g per litre that way if your bottles are smaller or under filled it won't matter. Also was the yeast the same? Some yeast compacts better than others.
