Good morning,

Completely new to home brewing so I'm sure finding this forum will be a godsend.

Stuck to lager during my younger days, but have discovered ales in the past couple of years. Looking to brew my own, learning the basics to begin with and taking it from there.

Hi and welcome Belfy, you won't get a true lager with a can kit. Lagers need cooler temperatures and lager yeasts and why most serious brewers will build their own brew fridges. There are some decent kits though that will be a pseudo lager. Ales are a lot better.
