Hello, I have just found this site and joined. I have been home brewing beer for about 35 years, first kits, then extract, progressing through partial mash to all grain. Most of my brewing is all grain, but this is confined to the cooler months, as I got fed up of brews being ruined by racing fermentations in hot weather. In the summer I do a few TC brews, it doesn't seem to mind hot weather.

My equipment is simple, cool box mash tun, Hop and Grape boiler, it works for me and I am happy with it.

Looking forward to picking up some tips.

Thanks for the welcome folks. by the way Grumpy Jack, I live in Harwich too!

In which case you know who I am and I know who you are! :thumb:

Nice to see you on here, I've only been on a short while but there's loads of good info on here and if you can get a moment to slip into the bar on a weekend, there's some good banter and discussion (except when someone starts on about football). :D

Would be good to take a look at your mash tun etc some time, I'm yet to go to AG but it's only a matter of time, the dark side calls...

Thanks again for the welcoming reception, and yes, Jack, you are welcome to inspect my brewing equipment, I would be glad to help you on your way to the dark side. PM sent.

Looks like I'm not alone!!!

It happened briefly on Friday evening, I found some fluff in my belly button to examine  whilst they got their discussions over and done with and then it was back to someone telling truly awful jokes whilst the rest of us chatted and extolled the virtues of our own brews...
