Does anyone else end up buying green beer off the shelf?
Regular culprit seems to be Wychwood with their Hobgoblin. It's one of my favourite beers but more often than not these days I seem to buy beer that is not ready to be drunk. I didn't really notice until I started home brewing but that smell and taste of green beer is unmistakeable.
Why do they sell it before it's ready?
In the fight for consistent batches they seem woefully behind.
I had a Tomos Watkins beer last night which was the same, as soon as I opened the bottle that smell hit me.
Why can't they store it until it's ready?
