119th brew, an American Pale Ale 4.3kg Maris Otter, 230g Carapils, 250g Carared. 29g Chinook for 70mins, 15g Centennial and 15g Simcoe at 10mins, 44g Centennial and 44g Simcoe at flameout. Brix readings

First wort 17 at this stage 9.5%
Final Sparge run off 6 at this stage 3%
Pre boil mixed 13 so 7% at this stage...so might need some water in it!

Gravity was quite high after transferring it to the fermenter so added a bit of water to get it to 23litres. Think the gravity is now around 1.054 so will end around 5.7%. Colour at pitch, pale orange. Taste at pitch well rounded bitterness that lingers, very smooth and creamy ....oh and fruity

Tasted this beer after a few weeks in the bottle and its a lovely beer, very much like one of those new hoppy beers you get in cans..probably because it is young and doesn't have a huge amount of carbonation at the moment. Lovely aroma and taste.

After a few weeks in the bottle this is the best beer I have made. Good hop profile, lovely aroma and the tatse is both hoppy and sweet malt in real balance. I recommend this one to you.
