Grainfather Mash efficiency

Good morning all,

When conducting a brew do you calculate the Mash efficiency so that you can adjust the hop additions to the boil to reach the desires IBU or do you not bother and go with the recipe as is?

Short answer from me is no. However you have got me thinking now.
Saying that, I'm one of these people that never stick to the recipe.

Correct I am keeping an eye on the BG/GU ratio. The mash efficiency has an impact on the amount of hops added to reach the desired IBU and BG/GU ratio
