Following on from my brewday write up from yesterday - has anyone else experienced problems with a leaking grainfather?

I had left 20L of treated water in the unit over night and returned to find only 10L. I can't immediately see where it has leaked from. Any thoughts?

Somewhere at the bottom, probably a seal in on pipe into the pump? Of filter pipe that inputs pump is not crewed in to the gf body properly. Hopefully not a dodgy weld. Check everything around pump, take of cover, and have a good look

Agree with what Justin says, pump & pipework. I have removed the pump from mine in the past, when the head got clogged solid with hop debris, but it all fitted back together straightforwardly with no leaks.

Same here. Only place mine has ever leaked from is the elbow that joins the pump to the Grainfather body. I'd taken it apart for a thorough clean and
didn't get the o ring on the body perfectly central.

Thanks all I did have to strip pump down a couple of brews ago so will revisit that ahead of next brew.
