Gooseberry wine advice needed

Well I planted a gooseberry bush and it's now got quite a few gooseberys on it. Now I'm after making either gooseberry cider or wine with it. Any reccomendations and how to go about it. Never used actual fruit before. Don't know if I've got enough of em

well i have picked them (and got a thorn in my finger) ive got 275gms of them. Is there going to be enough? any reccomendations

Try a gooseberry crumble :thumb:

You would need another kilo for a gallon of wine.

Yeah I thought that may be the answer. Maybe next year when the plants bigger.

I've got the same problem - not enough gooseberries for a wine on its own, but loads of white and red currants. Would a mixed batch work ?
