Good pub in Blackpool?

Hi all
i'm in Blackpool friday and saturday night albert st and wondered if anyone can reccommend a pub nearby with good beer!!

Well, last time I was there, the Pump and Truncheon (near Bonny St Market) was ok (2 years ago !), and they've a wetherspoons on the seafront now, so there's a chance you'll get a half decent pint there.

IIRC, Aleman is a Blackpool resident, so perhaps he'll know more than a Swadlincote resident !

Churchills on Topping Street is in the CAMRA good beer guide and not to far to go . . . Topping street having a good range of reasonable eateries as well

I'm in Blackpool myself in April, whereabouts is Topping St ? I've been Blackpool quite a few times, but not sure of road names...

Albert road is 3 or 4 roads to the south about 5 minutes walk
