Hello everyone.

I'm new to this forum and home brewing. I've been toying with the idea of home brewing beer for some time but bit the bullet a couple of days ago and went and bought myself a starter kit. I started my first ever brew on Wednesday night and now I'm pacing the halls like an expectant father - worrying if I sanitised everything properly, made the kit up properly, why the airlock isn't bubbling yet, is it warm enough, is it too warm, is it too light - it's ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!

I've started with a Beer Works Dragon's Special Kentish Bitter, having sampled a fair few different beers in the home brew shop.

Haha, I remember my first one, longest month of my life. It's much harder when you don't have previous homebrews to enjoy in the downtime! Don't put off batch number two until you've tasted number one, as soon as it's bottled get the fermenter full again!
