Good avo experienced brewers and drinkers!

I thought that my first post in this forum should be a quick hello and a few words. I bought my first ever brew kit last weekend at the ripe old age of 35 and I am already looking forward to tasting it nearer the festive period. For those who are interested it is the St Peters IPA kit which I am told makes a jolly nice brew. I am a complete novice with all this stuff and will no doubt have lots of simple / stupid questions, as I learn though I hope to contribute more to the forum!
