Hi just wondered if there's anyone on here who plays?

Maybe if there's enough maybe a society could be arranged or just a round?

Alec

I occasionally play a round. Though my last game was six months ago. Looking forward to the good weather so i can get a round in again.

I play now and again, usually just round a couple of local 9 hole courses. Unfortunately i'm not much good and seem to spend half my time looking for lost balls

+1 this is my third year of playing and i'm almost as pants as when i started, but that doesn't matter. I go with my dad and uncle and we have an enjoyable afternoon and a couple of pints in the 19th. :thumb:

i played the game once at ashford golf course near the football ground and was bloody useless i should of used a football and a shovel :D , my score at the end was more like a 3 dart out shot than a golfing one  but hey ho i enjoyed it though

Once, as I drove away from a course I noticed the word "GOLF" writ large in white letters on the black roof of the pro-shop...

...in my rear view mirror...

...reversed...

I've viewed it in a different light since.

(and consider this, the fundamental point of golf doesn't make any sense. On any given course, it costs the same per round. The point is to play the LEAST amount of golf possible. The better you get, the more expensive your round... :wha: )

I play at least once a week, not this week :-( Handicap of 13.

Just started last year, living in St. Andrews so be mad not too with so many world-class courses on my door step
