Goldings?

Wgv and ekg are different breeds I believe, but one cultivated from the other. Ekg are the common type used in most British ales :) just 'goldings' probably refers to ekg.
 
Wgv arnt particularly common but imperitive to some well known beers, you can pick em up at Worcester hop shop and I reakon the malt miller will probs have them too :)
 
WGV tend to be a higher alpha and a bit harsher than goldings. Goldings can come from kent, sussex, worcester or kent and EKG are as stated from east kent only, there is a slight difference because of the different soil with EKG considered the best. Styrians are derived from fuggles have no golding parantage and are grown mainly in Slovenia
