I am half way through fermenting a youngs lager kit (smells like Stella ATM :-) let's hope it tastes like it lol) I am gunna leave it for as close to 15 days in the ft to let it settle as much as poss, then gunna bottle and chill. Gunna add half a t spoon of sugar to prime the 1pt bottles for a good fizz. I heard about finings to help clear it, any thoughts? Oh put of intrest do u add the sugar to the bottle b4 the product or the otherway round????? Cheers

I've never had to use finings to get my lager kits to clear, they'll clear on their own if left for long enough.

Adding the sugar to the bottles before filling is much easier. Easier still is batch priming
