glitter beer!

I had an idea this morning but after research don't fancy it now. You can get edible glitter in 2 forms.
Sugar - which will dissolve obviously
Non-toxic cellulose based - which is safe but undigestable and I don't fancy that.

Plus all the bits would probably settle out.

It's going to be a difficult one...

...I'm thinking of other "got stuff in" drinks and Goldschager is the only one I can think of and that (presumably fake) gold leaf settles.

For beer you need something that will stay in suspension even when the yeast drops out. I reckon that is next to impossible because you will get aggregation of yeast cells on the glitter particles making them heavy and dragging them out of suspension...

What about fluorescent beer... I think Fluorescene is non-toxic in low doses...

If you add a shot of Blue Bols, or blue Aftershock to a pint of lager it turns luminous green. It could be worth an experiment for a Halloween themed APA or something.

It won't be fake eddible gold leaf is the real stuff, clicky available as leaf, dust, flakes and petals. Eat enough of it and you have sparking poo :lol: :lol:
