I finally got my beer taps setup, I was previously just using a party tap. Pour my first pint and it came out as foam. I have tried dropping the pressure right down to about 8psi but still foam.

My kegs are higher than the tap, and I notice that air/foam builds up in the tube, might be air coming back up through the tap. Any ideas on what I can try to improve the situation?

I've had that - bubbles forming
in the line - reducing the pressure is the only fix but it does take a long time to equalize back to your new setting.

More thin line is a fix - dropping pressure means you're changing the carbonation for the style and it can cause foaming the system should be balanced for the cabonation level, not the other way. Having the kegs higher than the taps means you also need more line to avoid foaming.
