The first beer with ginger I brewed came out with the fire I wanted but the smell and bite was a little dull.

Has anyone got any pointers on how to get a semi sweet and fresh ginger twist into beer?

I like that idea, it is not far off another bit of advice i was given which was to use ginger cordial to prime but i was unsure how much cordial to prime. Thanks

I have primed with Elderflower Cordial (beer, admittedly) and I seem to recall using 10ml per bottle, having arrived at that amount based on the amount of sugar per 100ml diluted to 1/10, which is the best information they put on the labels. I haven't had any bottle bombs from it and they seemed nicely carbonated.
