ive just bottled my ginger beer after fermentation i have all the yeast mix in bottom of drum about to make a can of youngs cider mix can i use the ginger beer yeast base as a starter for for my can mix or should i bin it and start form scratch

any sugestions would be great thanks barry
 
I have no idea what this would create, but it's a frankenstein that I wish I'd thought of. I say go for it, great idea.

I think you'll get a very (very) subtle ginger in your brew - which is good as I've had strong -beer with ginger- and half a pint is about all I can take in one go, and I don't drink halves.
