Has anyone ever made a wine using gin botanicals for flavouring? Is it possible to make a gin flavoured wine?
 
I got this as a pressie from my daughter recently:

Interesting question may I say. Ive just got back to the Lakes from Scotland and I saw some interesting uses of Sugar Kelp used in distilling
 
My sister brought back from Spain some what I can only describe as gin tea bags. They were pyramid plastic tea bags with an assortment of dried stuff inside. Orange, juniper, rosemary etc.

I see no reason why you couldn't follow the same approach. Produce a neutral wine and flavour glass by glass
 
All my ingredients are loose, so I'll try lightly crushing them and make a tea with them and add to apple juice and see what happens. Have to finish off my rose first.
 
OK, I've started this.

1/2 tsp cut liquorice root
1/2 tsp cassia bark
1 tsp dried orange and lemon
4 Black cardamom pods lightly crushed
4 tsp coriander seeds lightly crushed
5 tsp juniper berries lightly crushed

Bring to boil in 1 ltr water, turn down to a simmer for 20 minutes then add 450 grms dextrose sugar and stir to dissolve add juice of 1 lemon, let cool.

Once cool will strain into 2ltr Old Rosie jug, add yeast nutrients, top up then add yeast.

Think it will work?
My kitchen smells like I've spilt a bottle of Gordon's in it. 😏
