I've just brewed this today and it seems my efficiency is higher than I thought. I'm not complaining but I think this means I technically haven't brewed a cream ale, because the og is too high. I don't think I'll be entering any bjcp competitions in the near future 😄😄

Apologies for the late reply, but it does not seem to be unusually high a starting gravity. How did it turn out?

Entering bjcp competitions aside, i'd not worry. Often the best beers are those that didn't turn out as planned. athumb.. I like to brew between the lines... quad/ris hybrid being my fave. The only beer I brew to style is weiss beer and Belgian wit. Even then my Belgian wit is around 6.3% rather than the 5% mark.
