The first 3 large Christmas cakes have been made in the household and mighty fine they look too.
My wife has also made half dozen smaller cakes made in Yorkshire Pudding tins... About 4 inches across and high they do look fab. Will be used with others as little chrissy tokens with a bottle of homebrew for friends.

They are now being fed with whisky ( Teachers ! ) to make them nice and moist.

In the garage ...onions, green tomato, picallily, and several other jars of floaty things... looks like a row of mortuary specimens....

First feeding of the Christmas cakes this morning...I could get use to this smell in a morning fruit cake and whisky.....

If the cakes can hold half a bottle....I'll be free again.........

Any left over can be feed to the neighbours over the festering season
