Don't know if this is the right place, however,
Ordered various items from Get Er Brewed last friday at decent prices even allowing for p an p:thumb:
Delivered today, that is really good service in my book :thumb::thumb:

Yep, been using them a lot, at least as far as I know until recently they have been giving members here a discount so have been a close relation with this forum..

Also some of us were lucky to win loads of slovenian hops off them (and a few earlier competitions)

It comes with a free kit so I guess it isn't too bad plus most of that equipment is still useful (assuming you do not already have it) even if you upsize..

I think if it came with an auto-siphon instead of the standard one I'd be all over it.

DO you have some of the other stuff like capper or themometer and hydrometer ect?

No, nothing. Only brews I've done are with my brother-in-law. Trouble is he lives 90 miles away!

I just want to do some 1gal batches which, if successful, can be upscaled to his 5 gallon setup.

In that case why not go for this kit, if you want an auto siphon you will eventually want a 5 gallon one (which wont fit the demijon) just use the little siphon for your small brews, you can do it without sucking if that is what you're worried about..

Just heard/read that an auto-syphon is one of the must have upgrades when starting out.

I don't even have a regular syphon, I just use a bottling wand straight from the tap on my FV. Always had clear beer from kits.

Now I'm on AG I might decide I want to syphon into a bottling bucket to minimise trub I'll see how my first one goes and get a cheap FV and syphon.

A basic siphon with a little tap on it is only a couple of quid from Wilkos.

No Wilkos around here, but even Lakeland have them for £3.99. It's more time saving than a money thing. If my smash is fine straight from the FV I'll continue, if I think I'll benefit from a second bucket and a syphon I'll get them.
