German beer

Posting from Germany here, not long in the city (Munich) and slowley (depending on your perspectve ) learning about German's extensive range of bottled beers, in addition to discovering the mico/kraft scene. Has anyone any experience of common German beers? Any reccomendations? :drunk:

When I visited Munich several times I developed a taste for Spatenbrau, although I only had it on draught. The bottled Hacker-Pschorr Dunkel was very nice too.

Spatenbrau is lovely. I'll need to try the Hacker-Pschorr Dunkel. Although obviously Oktoberfest is a long time away, the summer usualy brings some brilliant beer fests. :drink:
