Doesn't state the length of time in the FV or which day to dry hop.
Been adding my dry hops on day 3 for biofermentation of my hazy NEIPA.
But GammaRay isn't that hazy so will probably wait till Krausen drops.
Still bubbling away nicely and has a wicked golden orange colour to it.
I doubled the first Columbus hop addition and the sample I took wasn't bitter at all.
Im also shocked that they released the recipe.

The Cloudwater is the Bergamot German_Style Wheat IPA
The Buxton is Imperial Black IPA
Thornbridge Halcyon Imperial IPA

No, I meant how much beer does it make! I'm guessing 19l or maybe 20?

20l
I ended up with 19 in the FV. Prob lose another litre with trub before I keg

Its a pity they don't explain when to dry hop.
How long to dry hop for, if to split it into a DDH.
Its been a week today, the Krausens just started dropping and fermentation slowed down.
Just not sure when best to dry hop as I don't want to leave the hops in for longer than 5 days

I'm not. It's EXTREMELY hard to make an exact clone of a beer. You can make a beer that's very like what you're trying to clone but unless you have absolutely every single detail of the recipe (not just what/how much grain and hops were used) and the exact same equipment, you're almost doomed to fail to make an EXACT copy

Have to say, just pulled my first glass of the clone and its bang on, id go so far as to say better and fresher than the original.
One of the cheapest brews ive made too.

Curious, how does 7G of Columbus make 55 IBU???
Mines coming at 14?
Going to brew in the morning and just baffled????

Ive inputted all the grains and hops and should be 55, but coming in at 14

Is this the best recipe to go with for Gamma Ray or does anyone that has brewed this got any tweaks?

Cheers

Its the exact recipe. Ive brewed it and its spot on, id maybe up the hops slightly for a more tropical hit

What hops would you increase and by how much? Going to put together an order tonight somewhere. (suggestions welcome!)

Just bought the ingredients, couldn't find Bravo hops so upped the Columbus in its place. Same with Calypso so ordered Cascade instead. I know it's now not going to be bang on the recipe but hopefully it's somewhat similar :-?

I also upped the dry hopping hops by 5g each - 15g in total.

Thoughts?!?!

Nice one, never thought of using ebay for hops. That's them ordered so original recipe for me.

Theres a couple of tiny mistakes on what I printed in the recipe
Ill post the exact tomorrow.
I know I used MO Extra pale, and the mash is 70 mins and boil 60.

Yeah I got the extra pale too. Look forward to your recipe, looking to brew early next week in the grainfather.
