tripped over this one in Facebook land which had a gem of a TV appearance from 1973 of the reporter Fyfe Robertson on his musings on beer.....Hopefully you will be able to follow the link below...Enjoy.

 
85 pence for 40 pints sounds good unfortunately the beer wasn't (well the stuff my dad made wasn't)

This thread reminded me my Granddad called the under-stairs cupboard the "Black hole of Calcutta" i never knew why until today.
