I think he had done some damage to his inner ear and that affected his balance and stance but not taking any credit away from Fury he outboxed a windmiller and showed his weakness that he is just really a puncher.

Very impressive stuff. I stuck a tenner on Fury and doubled my money. I only really place a bet about twice a year as I'm not a gambler, but I thought Fury had really changed up his training and work since his draw last year, and I reckoned he knew how to avoid the big hits this time.

Only watched this morning wow, completely took him apart he was well on top until taht first knock down and afetr that his legs wer like noodles..

Suggestions saying his balance was affected by teh cut to teh ear but still he did that and well on top until that point..

It's not an obligation, the losing fighter had the option of enforcing a rematch. Team Wilder has 30 days to decide if they want it or not.

Not sure if he'll take it, he got badly beat. If there were genuine reasons why he underperformed (injury etc) then he might, but 30 days + 3/4 months is not a lot of time to recover from in fight injuries, whatever injuries affected him and have an effective training camp (because, lets face it, Wilder needs to make a lot of changes).

My guess is he doesn't take the rematch and rebuilds against other fighters (Manuel Charr/Trevor Bryan for the WBA regular belt is a very good fight for Wilder) then eventually fights Fury and/or Joshua in the future.

Can't see Joshua/Fury happening next either. Joshua needs to announce his fight soon. Expected to be Pulev in June and they'll have to wait the same 30 days to negotiate with Fury (presuming Wilder doesn't take the rematch).

Fury v Joshua could happen in September/October but would probably require Joshua to drop the WBO belt. The WBO have already give him one exception to fight his IBF mandatory against Pulev so are unlikely to grant another.

This might be a blessing in disguise as the most likely fight for the WBO belt is Usyk vs Parker, which is a good fight and both fighters are represented by Matchroom meaning that an eventual Undisputed fight shouldn't be too hard to make.

A good fight for Fury in the meantime would be Charles Martin who boxed on the undercard. He's good enough to keep him honest, but shouldn't pose any real threat. There's a narrative there too as Martin won the IBF belt after it was stripped from Fury.

If it doesn't happen in September/October this year I think it would have to be next summer we see Fury vs Joshua. WBC are expected to enforce their Mandatory (Dillian Whyte) in the early part of next year, which will probably be late January early February (so Fury's next fight following September/October).

Summer 2021 at Wembley could work, but after that the WBA will be ordering Joshua to defend against their challenger again (last WBA mandatory being Povetkin).

Agree with you mate, I watched on you tube, glad I didn't pay to view, I wouldn't have paid either of them in 1/2" washers, I didn't see any boxing, if there was any I must have blinked and missed it. Both holding on to each other, they looked knackered by the third round.

And I think Fury will be too much for AJ, he is simply too big and too quick, AJ is a bit stiff , Fury moves like a middleweight

Not surprising where Frank Warren is involved, he will squeeze as much as he can out of these bouts before the showdown with Joshua.

Shocking excuse. Word is he's sacked the assistant coach who threw in the towel too, only person with any sense in that team.

Reminds me more of Lewis, good all round ability and a solid ***. Fury v AJ is a 50/50 fight, think if Fury comes forward like he did against Wilder AJ will take him about, but if he fights on the backfoot he'll cause AJ a lot of problems. Both guys are chinny and can be dropped so it should be entertaining.

Like him or loathe him, there isn’t a heavyweight that has his boxing skills, to be fair to him, he is 6’9 and that helps him carry the weight.
Even Billy Joe Saunders and Liam Williams have commented on him being slick for a heavyweight
