I managed to acquire another free under counter fridge a few months back but not had a chance to do anything with it. 8 got to questions I need advise if anyone out there can help.

1. I cleaned it up in the seal around the fridge, star sanned it and then dried as well as I could. I left the door open as it wasn't turned but there was black mould all around the seal. I cleaned up again and the same thing has happened. Throw the seal?

2. It has a very small in built freezer which is moulded to the inside skin and this stops any FV being used in it. Should I try cutting the bottom off?

Cheers in advance

I wouldn't. Small fridges with an ice box often have the refrigerant pipes/channels (only) around that ice box.
