Free Yeast!

Does anybody want a free smack-pack sachet of Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan Weizen? I ordered it to help fix a stuck fermentation, which then un-stuck with a bit of heat and stirring! Wyeast pack is fresh and I can't use it but don't want to waste it either.

Interesting you thought you had a stuck ferm.

I've just done a weissbier with WLP300 (reputedly the same Weihenstephan 68 source - check out W 68 – Brewery yeast top-fermenting | Hefebank Weihenstephan) and it went off like a rocket, but knocked off the final 10 points very slowly. I didn't do any stirring - just left it to it and it eventually got there with time.

Yeast received safe and well today mate. Thanks for the Christmas card too . I'll go one better than posting a pic on here of the beer, I'll send you one. Might be a while, but planning a hefe and might put a gallon of it on some passion fruit puree I've got
