free hop plants

Unfortunately we are having to give away our hop plants. Our crazy dog seems to like eating them and it has made her ill. She was very lucky as she could have died. We have a well established 4 year fuggles and challenger plant together with a young goldings and a young east kent goldings. Free to anyone who wants them. Must collect though

i would have put a wire cage around base of hops ie chicken wire to keep dog out :thumb:

Seems strange that as someone who contacted me about hops said they feed horses the seeds?

PS couldnt you just whack chicken wire round the base of the plants??

We did she got in there as well just glad there gone shes a precious dog :thumb:

We still have the plants so any one who wants them can have them. I'll be digging them out over the weekend
