Hi everyone
just joined the forum although I have been brewing on and off for many years, wine, beer's and cider/perry's.
Currently living in Mid Devon, in a peaceful village in the Exe Valley.
I have my own "brewery" which is a converted 8' x 6' greenhouse which is temperature controlled and a storage barn with two beer fridges for barrels or bottles depending on requirement.
Currently I am experimenting with ginger wines (cant really call them beers!) with different flavourings and a rough Pear scrumpy. This is alongside a regular lager and some wine from Pinot grape juice.
My favourite brewing is Belgian Triple and spicy wheat beers, both of which have been regular favourites of friends as well.
In the past I have brewed all sorts of dumb concoctions  . There isn't much I haven't tried to make something from, not always successfully as you would imagine  . My best was a Scotch Bonnet Wine, literally from the juice of the finest chili's. Nearly killed my poor father who decided he would drink half a bottle of it one evening the daft bugger
Anyway, that's me, if anyone is in the mid Devon area and wants to meet up or knows of any home-brew clubs, let me know!
