forgot to introduce myself

Hi all

Im Josh from the UK north west (at uni in the north east) i am very new to home brewing and am looking at getting very into it.
To date i have made 12 bottles of TC and they are at this moment hopefully carbonating and aging. i have a 40 pint kit of bitter brewing in the corner of my bedroom (stinking the whole flat out with the lovely smell of beer [flat mates are not best pleased, but im sure they wont complain when they get free beer])

I am 20 years old
I study CAD Engineering at university

Does anybody here brew in the north east (preston/blackpool area) or west (teesside area)?

my aims for summer:-

save up and buy a corny keg set up!!
brew some nettle beer
brew ginger beer
make peach wine
and some nice coffee beer (cant wait for this one)
oh and explore partial extract sort of getting me ready for all grain when i eventually do it.

Thank you for helping me so far on this forum, everyone is very helpful and when i gain more knowledge i will be sure to return the favor.

Hi Josh,

There are a good few of us brewing in the North West Blackpool . . . Is the North East Blackpool as much of a dump as the North West One? . . . And do you have a tower like ours? :rofl:
