I just did my first AG yesterday, which was an experience! But whilst cleaning up today, I found my pot of five star Irish moss, untouched.
Is it a major problem, and is there anything I can do to fix it? It is fermenting away nicely in the FV.

brewed yesterday cleaned up today.....

Would it help if I used finings in the secondary FV? I know these settle out the yeast, but what about proteins?

just see how it ferments it will be cloudy during ferment im not sure how it will clear after but its a bit late now you may need to use finings just see how it goes

Shameful, I know, but I had to do cleaning today, went out last night to a party with the mrs, and I was running well late. Best not to keep my mrs waiting when there's booze to be drunk! :D

Thanks for advice Eddie :thumb:

I wouldn't worry about it. I forgot to add Irish Moss on a brew and apart from having a little more sediment in the bottles, it didn't seem to make any difference, it still cleared ok. This was with Nottingham yeast.
