6 weeks!

I think this is the longest I've gone without brewing since I started All-Grain brewing, I won't be able to brew for a couple more weeks to so it'll be probably 8 weeks or more soon!

What's the longest you've gone without brewing since you started your hobby?

It's starting to do my head in now, looking at all the forum pics of brewdays

Wez is this some kind of brewing confessional being taken by our very own " Father Vossy"

"Forgive me father for I have grain binned,Its been six weeks since my last brewday I have had lustfull thoughts about shiney things, and I have been unfaithful with another mans mash tun"

I've head reqular gaps in my brewing career . . . sometimes as long a 6 years , but I always come back to it . . . and certainly remain active in the fora.

I last brewed on the 2nd of November so I'm looking at 5 months and running so far . . . I have 13kg of crushed malt sat in the airing cupboard waiting for a dry spell and then I will brew a batch with that . . . When I have the femtobrewery commissioned then I intend to brew much more frequently . . . possibly every 6 weeks . . . the intention being that I can brew my house beers on the big kit, and then varietal beers on the small kit . . . hopefully building up a good stock of different beers

I had a brewing famine from 12/12/08 until 28/2/9.

I too intend to do this. On the December brew day I managed to produce 2 x 23ltr batches, same wort, different 100ltr boilers, and different hops. I really didn't fancy laying out for more kit, so I as delighted to see the large brewery can make small batches
I might still get a seperate cool box mash tun or 2, so I can do 2 or 3 different worts/beers in one brewday :hmm:

I have gone 2 1/2 months between brews but then again I dont have much in the way of storage only having 3 cornies.... but ive now got 2 fermenters going and a cornie full from a brew 3 weeks ago.

I have brewed every month since I started AG though some times at beginning of one to the end of another but each calandar month

My longest time between brews was 7 years
But I kept my kit all that time ;)

Hmmm - not sure what the longest time has been but certainly several years

Recently I've been very busy with work so I've not brewed since October  - so that's about 4 months :nono:

Definitely got to brew in the next few weeks

4 months for me....

after deciding to upscale from plastic boiler/HLT to a 4 staged stainless setup i made my last brew in Nov 08.

Pleased to say after a fubar trial run last week, made my first proper brew on saturday.

Will be brewing again this sat to build my stocks back up...
