So I put the keg outside yesterday for 24hrs to cool to 8c. Took a sample pour this morning and have to say it's worked, very well indeed. Another 24hrs in the cold and it should be perfect and ready for serving. The psi dropped to 12 from cooling, but I used a different gauge so can't be sure.

King keg can take 15psi easily, the lid will bulge and start leaking around the gas post before the barrel fails anyway.

No krausen issues, tho I would not do this with a the likes of an IPA charging a porter. It was a pale ale charging an NEIPA with similar hops and yeast.

King keg now dialed down to 10psi as the pale ale finishes off.

(Plastic champagne glass was all I had to hand at 8am outside)
