Foaming adding dextrose

I just fermented some Festival Weiss beer . I racked this to another bucket it when I added the dextrose for Secondary fermentation It immediately foamed up.

I am am not sure if this is normal? It didn’t do it with same kit last time.

Any advice please?

The grains of the dextrose a very small and numerous and they act as seeds for CO bubbles to form around, hence the foam.
