Hi everyone

I know a few of you use flowjet air powered pumps. I am just about to set mine up and I want to know if you have to use lubricated air in them. I am thinking not as in their intended environment a pub they would be run on co2, but all my air tools and machines in my workshop have to be lubricated so it goes against my thinking. :wha: :wha: .

Any thoughts

Same here, just normal.

Most pubs won't run them on CO2 either, it's too expensive. Most have got a compressor around the place.

If it's a big pub, they might run them off nitrogen (from a nitrogen extractor, not bottles).

Thanks for that I will run them on my un lubricated line.

Just got them running sprayed my walls with stale beer  .

Noisy as well makes a mockery of having a silent compressor

I quite like the noise (tho the compressor is where I can't hear it).

One tip though. Don't ever try and take them apart for cleaning. You'll never manage to get them back together again. I just run chlorinated caustic through mine.

Thanks for that tip I wasn't planning on taking them apart they look like they are spring loaded inside and you would never get the bits back in again.

It depends on how patient you are . . . it is possible to get them back together . . . . and even working . . . . . Now where are the two that bounced off the wall last week
