I've just finished replumbing my bathroom and about to move on the installing a central heating system through out the house.

I've had a pain trying to get the floor boards up. Does anyone know a good technique?

you copuld always use a circular saw set the blade just low enough to cut through the board then you can punch the nails through then lift

My circular saw has a thick blade on it. I'd prefer to use my makita jigsaw. Do you think it'd be ok to angle grind a blade a bit shorter and use that?

I did that once . . . and went straight through the gas pipe underneath

Either get a floorboard saw, or get a thinner blade for the Circ Saw . . .By far the best way to do it

A jigsaw needs to be able to go all the way through. That won't work if you're trying to split a floorboard across a joist.

Circular saw and crowbar :thumb:

Be VERY CAREFUL INDEED with the first cut depth until you can lift a board and check underneath for cables or pipes.
