Hey All

I managed to brake my airstone today and was just wondering if I could use standard fishtank airstones as they are a lot cheaper on Amazon?

Thanks

dont know the answer, but the arstone in my fish tank is quite brittle and also little bits tend to crumble off it.... just a thought

Interesting.. I guess this is why they are cheaper?! The original airstone lasted for just a week :wha:

Thanks for the heads up motomaniac

I was pretty sure they should be stainless and go through a hepa filter

Hi try finding a white plastic one (these are usually strippable to make cleaning easy) rather than the usual ceramic ones that fall to bits!! I think algarde are a fairly good make.(well any way there what I used to use)!
