Hi

I'm a relatively experienced home brewer - but to date I've always bottled all my beer. But a friend has asked if I can provide some beer for a party, and I plan to use pressure barrels for the first time. I'm planning to just buy a couple of basic PBs from Wilko or somewhere like that.

But - I've got a couple of questions. I'm happy enough on priming, and as these will be drunk quickly I don't plan to add any CO2 at any point. But the main questions are about transporting them when full. I'll need to move them in the car (along with kids and camping stuff!).

First off - is this safe? Secondly, does anyone recommend upgrading the taps to avoid leaks etc.

Finally - I've never used finings. Presumably if I'm moving them about then this might be worth thinking about.

Any advice/suggestions would be great.

Thanks
Keith
