Well, I eventually got around to using the hops I grew ... only 20g from the first year's crop - and I threw them in for aroma. They'll probably be eclipsed by all the other hops but I wanted to use some up that had been hanging around!
Anyway - here's the spec - no pics I'm afraid as it's just the same old brewday. I tried adding CRS again - but a shed load less than last time as I swear I could taste it. I also tried a much lower mash temp - 62C, has anyone else gone that low? I used a thinner mash too .. upping the recommended amount (from BeerSmith) and lowering the sparge amount.

Oh .. I hit the gravity estimate smack on - 1054 with the efficiency set at 80%

Hey ph .. I had a sneaky bottle last night - just for QA purposes you understand ;) Looks like its going to be a winner .. it has that lovely background fruitiness that you get with some hops - although I'm sure that is coming from the goldings - although I swear you can taste the Nelsons in there.

Just sparging my christmas brew, will post up the spec for that later!
