Hi, I'm new on here and also fairly new to brewing. I've made 2 extract brews so far - one with grains (a Amarillo Pale Ale and an Fuller's ESB clone).

I'm trying to devise a summery US influenced pale ale/IPA at the moment and wondered what people thought of my recipe. I'm a bit worried it's too hop heavy although i do want to aim for an big, hoppy beer. Here it is:

Predicted OG: 1.056
Predicted FG: 1.015
Predicted ABV: 5.5%
Colour: 18EBC (9SRM)
IBUs: 45.2
Boil Size: 8L
Batch Size: 20L

Grains:
3kg Light Dry Malt Extract
300g Crystal 20L (steeped for 30mins)
100g Biscuit Malt (steeped for 30mins)

Hops:

35g Columbus (Tomahawk) (16.1%AA) 60mins
20g Centennial (12.3%AA) 15mins
20g Nelson Sauvin (12.6%AA) 15mins
15g Centennial (12.3%AA) 5mins
15g Nelson Sauvin (12.6%AA) 5mins
15g Centennial leaf (12.3%AA) at flame out for 5mins
20g Centennial dry hop 7days
15g Nelson Sauvin dry hop 7days

Yeast:

Safale US-05

Misc:

tsp Irish Moss 15mins

I might miss out the biscuit malt yet, haven't decided.

Thanks in advance for any help :)
