Hi all well my first ever extract brew is in, St Peter's golden ale, how long does it take before fermentation starts????

It's exciting stuff this!!! Already thinking about the next one, has anyone any recomendations of good kits, I love blonde beers , ipa and chocolate stouts!!!!

Thanks to anyone that's answered my questions so far!!

My first brew was an all grain Amber ale (talk about running before walking) and there is nothing more exciting than seeing bubbles coming through the airlock of your first brew. I'm not sure how long mine too but it was certainly less than 24 hours.

Funnily enough my last brew was a Coopers Canadian Blonde (i added hallestaur hersbrucker hops) and today i've just done a Chocolate Stout (thomas coopers irish stout)

The canadian blonde i'm hoping to mature until december (cant wait any longer) but my best friend who's also a keen homebrewer was back from uni last weekend so had to crack it open and it was very good and very clean

Don't panic if there are no bubbles, I just bottled a brew and never got a single bubble.
