I bottle all of mine. They'll last a year or more in bottles. after fermentation has finished i leave it a few more days for the yeast to clear up after themselves. Then bottle with priming sugar. Leave them in the warm (18-21C) for 2 weeks and then 3 weeks in the cold. Mine are usually just stored in my garage. :thumb:

Yup, ^ what he said

Bottling is always best for the first brew, because you can guage far better how it matures at different stages. It's also far easier to bung a couple in a fridge or take some round a mate's house.

I found this out in November when I had to lug a full 19L corny keg along with all my CO2 paraphernalia to a mates house 80 miles away!!! Bottles would have been far easier.

Although saying that, it is nice to be able to go to the garage and pour a pint from the tap whenever I choose...
