1Litre of Ribena (Blackcurrent)
500grams sugar
8 blackcurrent tea bags
2 norold mal tea bags
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 level teaspoon of Youngs Super yeast

the above is someone elses recipe but i forgot the lemons so substituted it with Lemon Juice from cupboard

I have a mug wich holds a pint of tea, so I placed the ten tea bags in this and filled with boiling water,
Next pour the ribena into a pan and heat slowly (dont boil)
After about 20-30 mins there was a small amount of vapor coming off and a white bubly resedue on the surface I guessed this was the presservatives
squeeze out the tea bags and top up the cup with cold water
add the sugar and lemon juice to the ribena when the sugar has desolved remove from the heat and leave to cool
add the tea and ribena to a DJ top up with water and add the yeast
seal shake
fitt an airlock and put in the airing cup board

the following morning, which was a sunday there was quite a but of foaming up, so I took it out and put it in the shade in the garden. It didnt really make any difference, so that night I put her back with a tray under her. The foam got the better of the airlock on monday and pushed the water out. I cleaned up and refilled the air lock with water, its still bubling away and my gut instinct is its doing well, what do you all think this is my first attemt at wine making and only my third brew ever
