Hi all
I’ve done my first all grain from a kit (1 uk gallon) after a few syrup kits don’t I’m not sure what to expect.
It sat in the demijohn for a couple of weeks and I took a sample to test the gravity and it had only dropped from 1.052 to 1.020 so I thought I’d leave it another week. I also realised I’d forgotten the dry hopping that was supposed to go in after a week so I threw that in too. Now 5 days later it’s kicking out a load more activity through the airlock but it’s gone really cloudy and theres a layer/film of bubbles and green stuff.
Not sure if it’s the fermentation restarting with some hop floaters or whether it’s going mouldy or infected. See pictures.
Any help would be much appreciated

Looks ok...the green stuff is the hops...being only at 1020 after a couple of weeks needs attention as it may be "stuck"....what's your temp control like?

“what's your temp control like?” Bugger all :laugh8:. It’s in a warm utility room with that foiled bubble wrap stuff around it but I didn’t put the heating element I’ve got in there as I thought the room would be ok. It probably did get a bit chilly last week so it may well have stalled and got a bit of kick when I jiggled it and the weather got a bit warmer.
