Hi,

I am just about to kick off my first AG brew and have one question which I am hoping for a quick answer to.

The grain has a lot of very fine grounds in the bags, should I put these in the tun or aim to just have the grain itself ?

cheers

Guy

hi Guy,

I recently did my first AG and I also had the same with the grain... not sure if I was right to do so, but I put the lot in the mash!

Hope this helps.
Have a good one and let us know how it goes! :thumb:

DARK SIDE 4 LIFE!

Pictures being taken, but it is now sitting in the tun waiting out it's 90 minutes

Firstly what can I say but WOW, the smell is fantastic !!!!!

Secondly, I have hardly stirred the grain and a lot of it seems to be sitting towards the bottom of the tun rather than floating ? A cause for concern, am I heading for a set mash ? Newbie worries I hope.
