I bought some isinglass liquid and put it in my primary fermenter 2 days ago when fermentation was just about complete. My LHBS says that this won't affect the secondary fermentation, but the label says it will cause live yeast to coagulate and sink.

Does anybody know if my LHBS is right or wrong?

If the isinglass will cause a problem, will adding another sachet of yeast fix it? I've got some generic ale yeast and some champagne yeast sitting about - would either of these be ok? Should I use the full amounts or just part of a sachet?

I know I could just leave it and see, but that means there'll potentially be another week until I can drink my beer.

Thanks in advance.

( I'm making beer and I don't have the equipment for a forced carb )

One week isn't going to kill you! After you have left your beer another week, leave it another two months, and it will be nicer.

Add finings once initial fermentation has finished. Defo no need to add any more yeast, that won't achieve anything.
