fining stout

hi, got a coopers stout almost ready to bottle would i need to add finings to it.

you don't *need* to add finings to anything - it's just to try and improve the clarity of the finished beer or wine.

I sometimes add finings, and sometimes don't.

Frankly, for a stout, I don't think I'd bother personally.

all I added to my stout was black treacle during ferment
