My coopers irish stout was brewed last wed with an og of 1038 is it now down to 1006. Is it recommended that I barrel or put in pressure barrel now? Leave until it gets to 1000?
 
Hi , a brew should ferment all the way , but most do not go as low as 1000 (beers) anywhere from 1006 to 1018 depending whats in it etc so the best way to know if its finished and ready to bottle/keg is to use your hydrometer and if its stopped for 3 days in a row its time .
